What to expect in a Montclair Online program:

• Our 10 course, 30-credit Social Research and Analysis online master’s program is designed for full or part-time study with program completion in as little as 16 months.
• All of our courses are designed to help you engage actively with peers and instructors online. You will take a mixture of synchronous (live) and asynchronous (on your own schedule) formats.

In the program, you will take courses in survey writing, focus groups, ethnographic research, data analysis and data and text mining using software programs like R, SPSS and NVivo. You can also customize the degree to meet your career goals by choosing electives in social policy research, business analytics, or communication and media.

• The $60 application fee is waived for Online Programs.
• Graduate students from other programs can take courses as electives. Some advanced undergraduates also qualify to begin early. Please contact the graduate program coordinator for additional information.
